Stephen and I are married! Old news I suppose but still exciting all the same! :) We are living in Holladay and loving it. Our condo is so cozy and is becoming more like home every day. We are super busy but we still make time for a good time.. Mexico was so much fun, beautiful and down right perfect. It is fun getting used to each others quirks, it has definitely been interesting.
We have been painting, by we I mean Stephen's mom Joyce. What a sweet heart she is. It is looking so great! I will post pictures when our room is painted..
Yes Stephen and I were Peter Pan and Tinker Bell.. Unlike most people, I was Peter Pan and Stephen was Tinker Bell. Stephen does not find joy in being like everybody else. I also put in the only picture that I have on my camera of our honeymoon. Stephen has all the other ones but we can not find his converter.. So all you need to know is that the beach was beautiful and we swam lots! :)I love you all and really enjoy reading your post's.. I will be better with my frequency in blogging!

My new Job

So I have started a new part time job working with adults with disabilities. It has been quite the experience, good but different. There are 3 guys that live in this house. We can hang out at the house or take them out and do pretty much whatever they can handle. I don't think I will try to push the limit just yet! It has been really fun getting to know the guys and my co-workers.

I took one of the guys, David, to wheeler farm. He really liked pretending to steer the tractor. He is a lot of fun. He seems to never tire of being a little trickster. He always says "im just teasin", is he really?, I will never know! hehe

It has been a little crazy without mom to hold us together but dad and I seem to be surviving fairly well. We leave little notes for each other, it seems to be the best way for us to communicate. I have cooked a few meals for us but I have been so busy that he has been left on his own a lot, what a trooper! We are excited for the newest addition and also very excited to have mom back! a little less than a week! what would the world be without mom's! love you mom!

Happy Birthday mom!

Mom I hope that you have a wonderful birthday!. I love you so very much. I feel so extremely grateful to have someone as neat and as special as you in my life!
You are such a fun person to be around. Your laugh is contagious and one of my favorite
qualities of yours. I am going to miss our time together but I know you will always be my best friend! Love you, love you, love you!

2 down 4 more to go!

2 Married 4 are coming up to bat!
Another one of Stephen's friends got married!
It was an all day event. Stephen and I are getting
really excited and anxious for our turn!

Stephen was a one of the Grooms men. He looked so cute
in his pink tie and tux.

The cute girls! Camille and Eric are getting married
October 2nd, Tori and Logan got married in June, Kristina
and Ben get married Sept 1st and Stephen and I get married Sept 23!

Stephen and I decided to go swimming on the 24th for a fun day activity. Stephen showed off as usual with his awesome tricks off the diving boards and platforms. After we watched the Buttlerville Days Parade. It was a good time, we also went later that night to the Buttlerville Days Firework show. Our City of Cottonwood Heights put on a fairly decent show!

Our wedding plans are going really good. Stephen and I are just diving in head first. We are 'getting er done' as it were. Stephen is a lot more involved than I had thought he would want to be. It has made it quite a lot of fun, at times maybe a little more stressful but all in all pretty fun! I just want to be married, be done with this planning stuff. I know that I should cherish the moments, trust me I really am trying to but I still can't help but to think of how nice it will be when September 24 comes and we are on our way to Mexico! Yeeha

Hurray for the 4th

So the first of Stephens friends took the plunge and got married. They set a ripple effect, there is a wedding in July, 2 in September (stephen and mine included, hehhe), 1 in October and 1 in November. It will be a fun summer full of weddings and the real great thing is, I love all the girls!

Stephen and I had a pretty fun filled 4th of July weekend. Stephen being the amazing employee that he is, got us 4 free tickets for the 3rd to the Real soccor game complete with fireworks. We had the "suite" seats so we were sitting pretty fancy. It was a good time. He also got 2 tickets to the Stadium of Fire in Provo. The Jonas Brothers were the main entertainment. Now if your not 10-15 years of age or living out of the country you might not know who they are. I am cool enough that I know who they are and I even know a couple of there songs. I did not realise however that the rest of the audience that would know them would be 10-15 years old. Ha, so needless to say Stephen and my ears were ringing and as Stephen would say, "practically bleeding" from there screams of excitement. But the fireworks were amazing! Provo knows how to put on a killer party! Anywho, we had a really good 4th of July. The best part was that it was all free! Baby you just keep those free adventures coming!

Deborah and Stephen are ENGAGED!!

Yes it is true, Stephen did it and he did it with style! He had me thrown off completely. We had a delicious dinner at La Caille and then went for a romantic walk around the grounds. He was showing me the beautiful gardens then we happened upon a vase of 9 calla-Lilies. Upon each long stemmed calla-Lily was a hand written note. One for each month that we have dated and 3 for how long we will be engaged. On number 6 (for June) was written "will you?" I looked at Stephen, he was on one knee with my ring in his hands!. I was so excited and of course said YES! I am so extremely happy! We are planning to get married September 23 at the Draper Temple, I expect to see you all there or else (shaking fist) :) love you all! Stephen and I could not be any more excited!
